Teaches how to package executable instructions, code, and resources into Skills that Claude can discover and load dynamically. Skills provide Claude with specialized expertise for creating Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, and Word documents, performing financial analysis, and automating business workflows.
How does it work?
- Define a Skill with instructions and resources in a SKILL.md file. 2. Optionally include Python or JavaScript code and templates. 3. Load the Skill when calling Claude with the Skills API. 4. Claude executes the Skill and returns generated files or results. Output: Documents created by Claude with progressive disclosure (Skills load only when needed, minimizing tokens).
